Autobiography

 

I was graduated from physical education faculty of Beijing University of Physical Education in September 1990. I was specialized in martial arts and Qigong.

 

In June 1990, my graduation dissertation titled "study on application of Qigong in Martial Arts" received favorable comments from Mr. Huifeng Men, chief professor of Martial Arts Teaching Research Division of Beijing University of Physical Education, and was published on "Qigong and Physical Education" 092 issue no. 7 1992.

 

After graduation, I was assigned to teach martial arts and physical education class at Beijing Zhong Cuan Chun High School.

 

From 1994 to 1997, I coached Taijiquan (Tai Chi) at YMCA Monrovia and Pasadena.

 

From 1997 to 2000, I worked with 24-hour Fitness for Los Angeles County Area and Orange County Area as Taijiquan (Tai Chi) and aerobics coach.

 

From 2003 to the present day, I worked with La Puente ADHC Center as an assistant coach of martial arts and Qigong naprapathy, that is, using martial arts and Qigong naprapathy to treat patients.

 

In June 1990 I attended the Sixth Session Martial Arts Contest at Beijing Middle School Student Sports Meeting, and won the third prize. My field of contest was Shaolin Xiaohongquan Male B series, and my scare was 9.0.

 

In July 1990, I attended the State Level Contest at Beijing University of Physical Education, and passed the "Warrior Level Two" and won a credential prize. The field of contest was "Shaolin Zhaquan", "Shaolin Cudgel" and "Shaolin Broadsword versus Spear" series. My average score was 8.75. At that time, Chinese martial arts had three levels, i.e., "Warrior Level One", "Warrior level Two" and "Warrior Level Three" in descending order. I was ranked the "Warrior Level Two".

 

In October 1999, 1 attended the seventh Session World-cup International Martial Arts Tournament held in Los Angeles, U.S.A. and Hungary and sponsored by concern entity international Martial Arts Association. I was awarded with a testimonial of excellent performance and a gold medal. I was the only contestant who performed Chunqin Big Dao (Guang Dao), and received score of 9.75 and favorable comments from the tournament. Meanwhile, I was also honored by the Assessment Committee of the Seventh Session World-Cup internationals Martial Arts Tournament with a testimonial of gold medal for World Martial Arts Premium Contribution, as a prize for my significant contributions to martial arts career.

 

In September 2001, I attended the Eighth Session "World-Cup" international Marital Arts Tournament, i.e. World Outstanding High-Level Performance in Tokyo, Japan and Los Angels, U.S.A. The tournament was sponsored by concern entity International Martial Arts Association. I performed "Yang's Taiji Broadsword" and scored 9.9, the highest performance score. I also won a "World Best" gold medal. In addition, the tournament granted me Lifetime Achievement Prize on the Eighth Session "World-Cup" International Marital Arts Tournament, one gold medal and one medal plate,

 

Op the basic of the foregoing honors and prizes, I was granted "International Martial Arts 4th Dan Black-Belt" by the International Martial Arts Association Assessment Committee on the June 15, 2002.

 

In the year of 2002, 1 attended "Martial Artists" Association in Los Angeles, U.S.A., and became a member of the association that was established in 1992 and contained around 50 members. All members of the association have credentials above "2nd?Dan Black-Belt".

 

I believe that with my professional work anti contest experience, I am competent

to educate martial art talents for the United States, to carry forward Chinese martial arts spirits, to enhance exchanges between Chinese Kongfu and American western martial arts, so as to advance physical health and self-defense ability of American people.
