Technique 2.  Arm thrust and shoulder lock.

1.                            With your left hand quickly press and lock the attacker¡¦s hand to the top of your head.

2.                            Thrust your right arm up to the back of the attacker¡¦s left arm.  (The inside of your right elbow should be on the back of the attacker¡¦s left elbow.)

3.                            With your right foot step up.  At the same time use your left hand to twist (lock) the attacker¡¦s wrist and remove their hand from your head pulling it down and across your body. At the same time slide your elbow into the inside of the attacker¡¦s left elbow.  (Maintain contact with your attackers arm at all times.)

4.                            Using your right hand come up underneath the attacker¡¦s left arm pit and wrap your right hand over the back left shoulder of the attacker. (This should be done at a 45-degree angle.)

5.                            With your right foot step inside the attacker¡¦s left foot, at the same time move your left hand to the top of the attacker¡¦s left shoulder.  (Place your left hand on top of your right hand.)

6.                            Sinking your weight, press down and forward on the attacker¡¦s left shoulder bringing them across your body until his right rib cage is pressed across your right knee. (This whole movement should be done in a circular motion.)

Key points:

A.  Maintain contact with the attacker¡¦s left arm at all times.  From thrusting your arm, moving to the inside of the elbow, coming under the armpit and wrapping the shoulder.

B.   Continue twisting (locking) the attacker¡¦s left wrist with your left hand throughout the movement, until it is time to move your left hand to the attackers left shoulder.

C.  The coordination of the sinking circular motion and pressing the shoulder down.
